The Team
I'm incredibly fortunate to have an amazing support team behind me, ensuring that when I'm away training or competing my yard runs smoothly and my horses are kept in 'tip top' condition. We all work together to keep everything ticking over, and I have no doubt that without them my life and job would be much more difficult.
Adele BurleyAdele started helping us in 2021 after covid sadly put an end to the hunt yard she had worked in for over 30 years. She has one horse Joey an old hunter she adores and her pony Chip she's owned from months old who's now 31. She has a passion for showing and its lovely to watch both Adele and Chippy do well in the mountain & moorland and veteran's classes. | AliceAlice has a love off all animals. She enjoys showing sheep and has done well in young handlers. Her love for life shines in everything she does, its wonderful to listen to her sing in church and musical plays. Alice came to us to learn about the horses in 2020 and has become a very valuable member. She's been a great help at shows and a camera wiz for my videos. learning to ride on Billy Whiz and then going on to win a dressage test at a charity event in 2022 was wonderful to see. | Kerrie NewmanKerrie was very much my 'right hand girl' before I moved to Worcestershire. Without her I would have really struggled. She's fab at thinking on her feet and was responsible for videoing everything I did. She knew just how to keep me calm before a test and was always on hand with a word of advice when I needed it. It's lovely as Kerrie still helps me with my clinics when these are close to Hertfordshire and comes to visit us and stay now in Worcester. |

Richard LookerRichard is my farrier who came recommended to me when I moved to Worcestershire, and is responsible for their feet. All the ponies are barefoot and with a good farrier, careful diets and management this helps brings out the best in their movement. | The horses and everyone elseWithout the horses none of this would be possible. I am very grateful to my partner and all my friends, especially with the relocation, Peasebrook Equine vets, our saddler Ellie Duggan, and my amazing trainers; Elaine Hazlewood for giving me such solid foundations from which to progress, Ali Wakelin and Mary Wanless for giving me invaluable help with position and understanding biomechanics, and finally to Mark Ruddock and the BD camps for their huge support and encouragement in the ring. |
